WOODSLAND SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH THE FACULTY OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS – VNU UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

On the afternoon of May 7, 2026, in Hanoi, the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, VNU University of Engineering and Technology and Woodsland officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new milestone in the cooperation between the company and the university.

The signing ceremony was attended by professors and doctors representing the leadership and departments of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, VNU University of Engineering and Technology, including Dr. Dinh Trieu Duong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Xiem, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duc Quang, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Quang Loc, and Dr. Le Xuan Luc. Representing Woodsland were Mr. Hoang Huu Phuong – Deputy General Director, Ms. Pham Thi Theu – HR Manager, and Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung – Production Director.

Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on key activities such as research and development of industrial robotics, image processing, and automation applications in wood processing production; supporting student internships and practical research projects at Woodsland; and expanding other cooperation activities based on mutual development and shared benefits.

Following the discussion session, representatives from both sides visited Woodsland’s manufacturing facilities to gain further insights into the company’s operational system, production lines, and technology application orientation in manufacturing activities.

The signing ceremony is considered an important milestone, opening a long-term cooperation direction between the two parties in academic activities, scientific research, training, and human resource development.
